Reaper Daw Setup With Midi Controller

I bought this because I wanted a controller that would work with my Reaper DAW without headaches.� This is exactly what I was looking for.� It just works without hassles.� Also the free shipping was extremely fast.�� Good job B&H!

I'm using this controller with Ableton and it was very quick and easy to setup (my unit already had the latest firmware update too, which was nice). There's a program on the unit for Ableton which again made controlling aspects within the DAW seamless. It's obviously small (only 25 keys), but having the pads and encoders on such a compact unit is great. Fits right on my desk and lets me edit/perform parameters live, and is easy to throw into my bag and take with me. Only downside is that there's no midi out (just usb). So means I can't use with some hardware synths. But for DAW control, fantastic.

I use a pk-6 keyboard to trigger midi notes in reaper and the SP-2 works flawlessly to sustain notes with all my plugins (i have about 10 or so plugs from freebies to $150 ones). Plug and play as they say and i couldn't be happier.

Very impressive keyboard controller for the price. I'm using it with Reaper and with the included Bitwig 8-Track and it works seamlessly with both DAWs for me on Windows 10. Good keys and great pads. Also impressed so far with Bitwig - the included copy is limited to 8 tracks but includes 3 instruments and tons of effects. Quite nice. This is my first Nektar product so I can't speak to long-term durability but out of the box its a hit.

Works great, just as described from the manufacturer. I got this to simplify my live keyboard rig. I am able to connect two midi keyboards as inputs to my DAW from one cable. I didn't need midi out as I trigger VST synths from my laptop DAW but it's nice to know I can use either as an in or out and it senses and configures itself auto-magically. I liked it so much I ordered another one.

I got this to generate CV sequences for my Moog Werkstatt. It works very well, as well as interfacing from Midi from my DAW to CV outputs. Very handy for modular setups!
