With the Yeti, Reaper, and a laptop, I am all set to record multitrack audio anywhere, anytime. The Latency-free monitoring is simply awesome. Just playing around, I was able to run 8 tracks with midi and VST effects with absolutely ZERO latency when doing overdubs - with a NETBOOK! Given that, I bought a dual core laptop with 4 gig of ram and expect to be able to run as many tracks as my heart desires. The Yeti functions so well by taking the sound card out of the equation, and doing the A/D - D/A conversion in the mic, and it just plain works. The multiple capsules are fantastic, with the stereo option being not too wide sounding, but OK. Recording a very loud guitar amp seems to be the only issue I have run into so far, but I am sure I will be able to make it work. For the home recording folks who want a simple, cheap, yet pro sound, Blue hit it outta the park with this one. 5 |

Easily and quickly integrate computers into a Dante network without having to reconfigure the Dante network or change routing. Record or playback 2 channels of audio using PC or Mac without installing any additional software. Ability to connect mobile devices to the Dante network (using appropriate adapters, such as Lightening, USB-C, etc.). iOS and Android systems (version 6 or higher) are supported. 5 |

I didn't test it out entirely yet, but i did try to record a single track of audio and it was perfect! Even routing the sound to my D.A.W., back to the Scarlett for monitoring was nearly without any latency ! The sound was rich and full and everything is perfect! I can't wait to try to track 8 mics at the same time though! :P the only downside : Mixcontrol is not easy to understand at first sight! 5 |

This is a great mic for both vocals and instruments. I record in my little studio and it sounds as nice as my old U87i. 5 |

I use this mic to record instruments in my house. Hardly any noise whatsoever. Nothing bad to be said about this mic. 5 |

I use the mic to record vocals and instruments in my home studio. The pros are clear and accurate recording. No cons found yet. 5 |

I use this mic to record string and wind (brass mostly) instruments. The different patterns make it effective in a variety of spaces depending on whether you want to reject other sounds or include reflections. Versatile and great sound quality. 5 |

I use with my condenser mic to record instruments and voice overs on my computer desk. Because you can take it apart you can easily storage anywhere or put it in you bag when traveling. The only thing it's a little heavy that's the only thing I could complain about. 5 |

Whether you're looking to record yourself playing instruments, singing, or podcasts, the Yeti offers the best bang-for-your-buck when it comes to USB microphones. Using the microphone couldn't be more simple; just plug in the USB cable, open recording software of your choice, and in minutes you'll be recording some surprisingly clear and crisp audio. On the topic of audio quality, one must mention the top-notch audio recording capabilities of the microphone. The Yeti uses a three-capsule design which allow for a wide array of recording patterns. The audio comes out well-balanced, picks up bass well, and produces most frequencies with excellent clarity. With that said, do not expect it to be able to record CD quality audio, but for a USB mic, it sure has just about every other beat. The only con I can really think of is the Yeti's size, which might make it difficult to transport. With that said, the Yeti is very well built and features a rugged metal body and stand. 5 |
