My wife bought an EOS Rebel 8-9 years ago and we were told recently that there was nothing I could buy to work as a remote shutter release...I needed a newer camera with wireless functionality. I purchased this microphone to enhance the quality of sound when using my Canon Rebel T2i camera. The wind screen works great, and the sound on the video is crystal clear. I recommend this mic for anyone who enjoys shooting HD with their SLR camera! Professional sound for very reasonable price.

This is a really awesome microphone I ordered to go with my Canon Rebel T2i. It has AMAZING sound quality and looks really professional. This microphone will make everyone's head turn. The only problem is that you will very likely need to buy a sound recorder or a camera that can change audio levels because quality is lost when the audio is recorded directly into the camera. I would also recommend getting a secondary shock mount because the plastic knob to attach to a hot-shoe wore out the first day I used it.

I'm getting into shooting advanced HD video with my Rebel T2i and needed a microphone to cut wind noise as well as hopefully give me good stereo sound. I tested it at an outdoor concert and was blown away at the quality of the recorded sound. While I've only used it once so far so cannot comment on durability, it has so far exceeded my expectations.

I bought this microphone as a replacement to the Sennheiser ME2 Omni Lavalier Wireless Microphone System and I have to say, it is amazing quality. I can't even tell the difference between the manufactured Sennhesier and this Pearstone. I use this microphone in corporate studio shoots, in house astrology horoscope shoots, and for weddings. Highly impressed with the sound this lavalier produces for its price.
