Reboot Spectrum Wireless Router

Finally, a wireless system that works without the hiccups of switching. Disconnected my Spectrum router and replaced it with these. covers 3000 sqft house - and covers a pretty large area outside. 2 are wired direct and the third is wireless. A little quirky to get the first one set up but any additional are just plug and play.

This router is a great router combo at an affordable cost. Works well with Spectrum!

I have this set up as a mesh router (with a wired backhaul) with the RT-AX88U Pro and I have yet to have to reboot either router. I am also running with Merlin Asuswrt firmware and could not be happier with my current wifi setup! Everything just works and works well. I have lots of IOT devices and multiple computers, laptops, printers, phones and tablets, about 30 devices total and I have had no issues at all. I am coming from the RT-AC68U, with another Asus router in mesh mode, which would occasionally drop the printer and I would have to restart the printer fairly often to recconect. That issue is gone now. I am able to stream 2 4K TVs simultaneously while surfing the web and game online all without any problems. Currently I have only 2 wifi 6 devices that both run at close to 900 MB wirelessly up and down, with Fios Gigabit service 1 gig up and down. I've had my current mesh setup running at least 6 months with only having to do quarterly firmware update. No need to reboot the routers in between updates, it has been incredibly stable with a strong signal everywhere in my 2600 sq. ft. house and yard. I highly recommend Asus routers!

I was dealing with network issues since August last year. I used different routers, even wireless, but they all hang or stop working and the solution was always reboot, reboot, reboot until I replaced them with this little beast. It's been a full 6 months and I even forgot that I had a router installed on my network. One thing is for sure, this is not for the faint of heart, absolutely not for beginners, but there is A LOT of information available on the internet.

I upgraded my router from spectrum base model to this lovely nighthawk.. I was noticing lagging and traffic usage was slowing my spectrum router down.. the nighthawk router help my speeds by 200 mps but lowered my ping and can use all my devices without lag spikes! Most get in modem and routers

Great switch from the standard router you would rent from Spectrum. Was having issues connecting 2.4ghz devices to the basic router from them. Bought this and didn’t realize how slow my WIFI was with their router. With the AX4200 my wifi speed is amazing, videos stream better than ever, gaming is much easier and I can now connect my Roomba to my wifi. No complaints so far! Their NETGEAR app also has a ton of features, albeit many that I might not use. However, it is nice to have those options! Thank you!

Purchased the nighthawk modem/router combo for my spectrum internet service and it easily provides Wi-Fi to 4 phones,3 tvs streaming,a printer,Wi-Fi cameras and a MacBook This is a great product and the set up is simple

I did a lot of research on different router alternatives. I wanted to replace my stock Spectrum router to something with better range and speed. The reviews did not lie. It was a very easy setup and the speedtests confirmed what I needed and my entire home is now engulfed in wifi coverage.

Easy to set up once I figured figured out that you need to get the MAC address of the router, then enter into your Spectrum account web interface. The modem/router works great otherwise as far as speed- best I have had so far. It is also easy to navigate user interface of router/add ip reservations, see attached devices on the LAN etc.

Had standard cable modem/router from spectrum. This one is much better (build and performance)! Setup was easy and flawless!
