Receiver Only Speaker Cable Out

I'm using it instead of the camera's 2 second self-timer and instead of a cable release. Works really well. Only trouble is since the camera's receiver is on the front of the body, I have to reach this thing around to the front when I'm standing behind the camera. Makes for a lot of arm waving.

Out of the box it's ready to go. I put it to use immediately when I received the cable.

Out of all the different straps I've tried, this one has been the most comfortable. The style and colors are great as well. Only wish it was a tad longer wear it cross body.

Awesome sound. Best speaker I own. Out does Bose sound link and Ue boom.

Great performing modem. Out performs the one that is a rental from the cable company.

Out of the box I could not get the mic to charge. Researching this I found I needed to download the RODE Central software in order to update the firmware. Once I did that, it charged and worked as described. I love that all you need to do is turn it on and it auto connects. The mic 'square' is bulky and kind of an eye sore if you clip just that onto the person speaking. However, you can plug a lapel mic into. I have not tested the exact distance this has, but for what I do (I stay within 5-30 feet of the speaker) it has worked great. For an easy-to-use system that works, I highly recommend. I primarily do in-house training videos so the audio quality is sufficient for me. I wish it had a better noise canceling effect (since I usually film on a loud manufacturing floor) but I can hear the speaker in even the loudest areas in the plant.

I TOOK MY SPEAKER ON A RAFT TO FLOAT A RIVER WITH MY FRIENDS, WE HIT A TREE AND WE WENT DOWN. SO FAST. THE SPEAKER WAS SUBMERGED FOR LIKE A SOLID 2 MINUTES WHILE WE PANICKED AND MADE OUR WAY TO A SMALL ISLAND. I SET IT OUT IN THE SUN TO HOPEFULLY DRY IT AND NOT GET IT RUINED. IT DID GREAT. I TURNED IT ON 5 MINUTES LATER AND IT WORKED JUST FINE. I PLAYED A SOUND TO GET THE WATER OUT AS MUCH AS I COULD BUT IT DID GREAT! WE WERE STRANDED FOR 3 HOURS AFTER RHAT IN THE WOODS SURROUNDING THE RIVER TRYING TO GET TO THE MAIN ROAD, AND WE LISTENED TO TOOL THE ENTIRE TIME . IF I COULD RATE THIS A 20/5 I WOULD.

I was pleasantly surprised with this speaker. I got the customized option for my little one and I think it turned out well, just like the images on the website. Out of the box, all we had to do was turn the speaker on and press the Bluetooth button. My little one, who is 5, was able to figure everything out. I like the boom sound the speaker makes when it turns on and off, and overall, I think it sounds great. I hope it holds up as my child is pretty rough with things, but the speaker seems sturdy ans I am looking forward to using it for some time.

First off, I'm a techie - so the disappointment of how easy to set this speaker up is real. Out of the box, follow the prompts in the app and you're done in a few minutes! Most importantly though, the sound - wow... Once you've run the Trueplay setup, the difference is incredible and the soundstage is incredible. Listening to a variety of heavy rock to dance and everything seems to come alive - incredible depth of sound and so clear. Airplay 2 is also a massive bonus for me, easy multiroom audio that my technophobe wife can easily use!
