Receptacle Controlled By Switch

I love this strap. I never thought I would switch out my peak design strap but when I got a new lens foot with a QD receptacle and I got this strap hoping it would allow me to quickly switch between tripod and strap carry. I think the only thing I might miss is a little padding on the shoulder portion of the strap.

This slick little PoE switch is controlled by the UniFi management software (I'm using a CloudKey 2 controller), so I can visualize it on my network and run updates, etc. Note that there is not a PoE pass-through, even though the switch can be powered via PoE (or USB-C), it cannot provide power to any PoE device plugged into it.

If you’re lucky enough to have a 5-20R receptacle (which indicates it is a 20 Amp circuit, not the more common 15 Amp circuit) nearby, this thing ROCKS! When lightly loaded (100watts) it offers a runtime of 3 hours and 32 minutes. Pure sine wave output and AVR are great performance highlights, but the value of the new “SmartConnect” feature is even better. Plus, APC allows “1 Additional Year of Battery Warranty for FREE when you connect and register your Smart-UPS with SmartConnect”. An overall amazing UPS!

A fine unit. Note that this unit uses an L5-30P plug. (The P in the name means plug. R would mean receptacle.) My application uses a NEMA 5-20R. So I had to find a NEMA 5-20P to NEMA L5-30R adapter. They can be found via a search engine. Building supply store websites too. You can skip the plug hassle by buying a 2200 instead of a 3000. Same batteries, slightly lower power capability.

All I had to do was open the package, plug it into a USB 3.0 receptacle, and it's immediately recognized by Windows 10. It arrives formatted 32-bit FAT, but I allowed EaseUS to reformat to NTFS and dedicate it for file backups. It is lightning fast

I needed to plug something into the a wall 120v power receptacle but my cord was too short. I bought this one thinking it would make my cord longer, or at least functionally longer. My current draw is way under the 13amps stated as maximum load for this product so I thought it would work. And you know what, it works! I can now use my electrical appliance where I want to, when I want to. Thank you B and H and the geniuses at Watson!!!

I purchased the AVRG750U as my first-ever UPS unit. I especially liked the idea of it being line-interactive to compensate for voltage variations in my home's wiring on top of having surge protection and relatively-instant battery backup for the next time we have a power outage. I do, however, have two small suggestions for improving the unit. 1. The three-prong receptacles seem to be designed with a safety feature that prevents a two-prong non-polarized plug from being inserted. I notice that the rounded ground lug on a male plug is supposed to help slide a lock or guard away from the two holes in the receptacle outlet for the male spade connectors of the plug. My router, printer, and monitor all terminate in two-prong plugs. It takes a determined effort to insert these into the AVRG750U's female receptacle slots--and I think this could be improved. 2. To save space in my rather cramped desktop computer desk area, the unit can stand up on end rather than lie flat. However, the bottom of the unit has a slight V-shape, rather than being completely flat or having feet on it, so the unit can rock slightly. This could also be improved. Rubber feet would be nice.

Works with any of the Buff lights that have the phone cord receptacle built in. X1600 series lights only work on the half setting, not full power unfortunately.
