We originally purchased the DXA-MICRO-PRO adapter, which is the same unit except that it is powered by a 9v battery, whereas this unit is powered by a rechargeable battery with an option for an external power cord (USB). Except for how they are powered, and for the addition of the accessory plate, the units are identical. This is the unit to get if you are able to power it from USB or AC-to-USB. Otherwise, your choice is rechargeable battery (this one) or disposable battery (the other one). I hate batteries, so I got this one. 5 |

I have used Eneloop rechargeable batteries for a few years and they are excellent and durable. I used it on a gas water heater that needs batteries to create the spark that ignites it. I was unsure if it would work, it works perfect. 5 |

This is a nice step up from the typical included charger -- I really like that it has a USB C input so it can be powered by a car charger or USB battery pack quite easily. The indicator is also very nice to have. It seems to prioritize fully charging one battery and then the other rather than in parallel, so that the first one is available ASAP. 5 |

For the price this is way more than expected. I love that the light can be AC powered or battery. There's even a car adaptor and wall adaptor to recharge the battery. Awesome. I am sure this is all listed but it was such a wonderful surprise to see such a well thought out package. The slim but carrying case seals the deal. A no-brainer as they say. 5 |
