Rechargeable D Cell Alkaline Batteries

I bought a several of these C cell alkaline battery packages to donate to the Hurricane Harvey relief/recovery effort. I know from past experience that RAYOVAC batteries are reliable, and the re-sealable packaging should make them less susceptible to environmental exposure; although I don't think they'll remain in the packaging very long. The quantity packaging is also easier to ship than individual batteries or battery pairs. Looks like I might have to get more, to send to some of the other disaster sites. 5 |

I went through alkaline batteries to rechargeable batteries, back to alkaline. I had no clue as to whether I'd ever make a safe flash photo shoot without missed shots along the way. Finally, I found this power pack designed specifically the battery guzzler. When I came across this device on a chance google, I did my happy dance before even buying the device. To my expectations, it's perfect. Thank you B&H! 5 |

It's good to have a battery testing on hand and this one does the lithium and alkaline batteries. One thing I would note is for rechargeable batteries that have been handled a lot; it a good practice to clean terminals with isopropyl alcohol otherwise it could give inconsistent results. This is covered in the manual and in their FAQ on the website. It is not readily apparent as to why you would need to read the manual for such a straight forward device :). 5 |

What a great little flashlight! I like the versatility of having a rechargeable battery or Alkaline batteries. I do a lot of off-roading so the compact size but powerful beam makes this about the perfect light for me. Since our last night ride, two of my riding buddies have bought one each for themselves. 5 |

Lithium batteries are much lighter than alkaline and rechargeable - great for a hot shoe mounted flash. And they last considerably longer. Just remember the voltage dropoff at the end is very steep. By the time you realize that the batteries are low, they're already dead. Carry spares! 5 |

For the price of two brand name alkaline 9V batteries you can buy one rechargeable one. The math is clear. I also find it handy to use a fully charged 9V battery for an electronics project or a device that requires 9V. The electronics (but not attached servos) of an Arduino project can be powered with this type of battery. The Watson 9V charger charges two batteries simultaneously. 5 |

Works perfect to take extra rechargeable batteries on location or store them in the studio. The 12-cell holder is best if you have several devices requiring AA batteries. For run and gun, you may want the smaller 4-cell holder if you only use one speedlight flash. Just insert the batteries in one direction to indicate they are charged, and the opposite direction to indicate they are dead. Then you know which ones need charging before your next shoot. 5 |
