Workstation / Gaming PC build - I have 4 VM running and playing a games at the same time. The cpu doesn’t even feel the workload. Keeping it less than 50% cpu load. Amazing I keep throwing heavy task at this machine and I am not stressing the cpu at all. Build. X570 motherboard 64 GB RAM AIO cooler Nvme drive Nvidia 2080 I was one of the lucky ones to get this at the launch. Shout out to the B&H support team. They are the best. Love this CPU. I know, you're looking at the price tag... Yea, it's expensive. But if you want the best CPU for gaming, streaming, content creation, photo editing, and have $800 that you're willing to spend, this is the CPU for you. There's nothing below the Threadripper 3960X that is even worth comparing this CPU to. 10980XE (gets beat by this CPU), 10900K (can't compete with this). End of the day, if you have the money for it, get this CPU. It's absolutely the best purchase I've made since my 5960X (Intel x99 LGA2011-3 8 Core CPU, not the possible TR40 CPU that might come out in the future with 24 Cores). Love it! 5 |
