After searching for and testing several monitors (Dell, LG) for photo editing, I finally landed on the BenQ PD2725U, and I'm glad that I did. It's a beautiful monitor in every way, especially for my primary purpose: photo editing. The image quality is absolutely gorgeous, and the colors appear to be as rich and true as I could ever hope. The hockey puck takes a little getting used to, but after awhile it seems easy and seamless to make adjustments, or change the color settings. The only difficulty I had was with the monitor's initial setup - BenQ shipped DisplayPort, HDMI, Thunderbolt, and USB Type A to Type B cables, but not the one I needed (USB-C) to connect my recent vintage laptop. After futzing around with the Thunderbolt cable, I finally realized that it just wasn't going to work, and went out and bought a new cable. For a $845 monitor, I was a little disappointed that it didn't include one of the most commonly used cables. Otherwise, I'm extremely pleased with the monitor.

Really enjoying this monitor. I mainly use it for production photo work (editing and printing). Colors are accurate after calibration and it's nice and crisp. Boy is it bright!

I was debating which monitor to get for my photo editing. I'm so glad I chose this one. The colors are brilliant and spot on without any additional adjustment. All I did was lowered the brightness slightly. One side note though is the speakers can be a bit tinny but I did not expect them so be that great. I use it for photo editing.. everyday tasks and light gaming and it works flawlessly. I would highly recommend!

This is a great monitor. It's perfect for everything from photo editing, video editing, or just every day use. The picture is bright, crisp, and clear, without any distortion or fuzziness. You won't go wrong, purchasing the Dell U2723QE.

most stunning ultra wide monitor I ever had, price is reasonable, I am very happy to use it for photo/video editing, but OLED is a little bit too bright to use indoor, need to use software to make it dimmer.

I was hesitant initially to purchase the SW240 as I had read a couple of professional photographer reviews expressing concern about the homogeneity of the panel. In the end, I decided to take a chance and I am very happy I did!  I use the monitor for photo editing for printing only. I am an amateur who makes and sells custom framed photos. I have found the homogeneity of the panel to be well within tolerance. Furthermore, the color I am seeing on the monitor is crisp, clear, and reflects very well what I get on my prints. This was a key factor for me in a monitor as I need to be able to trust that what I see is what I get with my prints. The unit came well packaged, was easy to set up, and is an excellent size for the level of photo editing I do. For the price, I don't think this monitor can be beat, especially with the extended return date of Feb. 1 being offered by B & H. I was assured of having ample time to evaluate the monitor and decide if I was satisfied or not. Excellent monitor for the money in my opinion. KL
