Recommended Speaker Wire Size

Great quality speaker wire from B&H. Wire is very flexible and color coded at a great price.

I can’t build nicer cables for less myself so these are my go to speaker cables when I want something nicer looking then standard speaker wire.

I purchased acton, because of it's small size. (Otherwise would have gone for stanmore 2 or 3). I carry it with myself (in a laptop bag) , whenever I change a city. It's more classier (look wise) compared to it's predecessor. (Subtle updates) More base heavy. (That was a surprise, with how small it is) Also, with Bluetooth 5.2, their is no lag (which was the case with my samsung speaker). Lastly, this speaker also has multi pairing option. You can connect multiple devices and play songs one after the other. Recommended. I'm yet to explore it fully, but so far so good. Recommended.

This speaker connector is easy to solder and has sturdy construction with a large opening for the wire.

Thermostat was NOT recommended for my 'old' heating system wiring set-up, noting it would probably require a c-wire. After a pretty extensive web search (rather than using the enclosed converter), it was a pretty easy operation (at least for this guy with 'some' experience and a little tenacity) to locate a terminal in the old Aquastat (at least my version) that functioned just fine as a c-wire. Thermostat compatibility with both Alexa and Google Home are both excellent and easy to set-up. Firmware update provided even more features and easy operation for everyone in the home. One of the best tech buys in a long time, especially considering a local gas company $100 rebate! Very cool stuff. Kudos to all at Ecobee.

Recommended by a neighbor. i was somewhat skeptical and decided to go ahead and "jump." Very glad that I did. My only complaint: the thermostat did not recognize that I had properly attached a wire. I learned that it was operating properly anyway. That was a touch nerve-racking because the Ecobee was telling me that it didn't recognize that the wire was connected to it. Too, the screen is somewhat slow to respond to tactile input when sliding the temperature gauge. I had to touch it several times to get it to respond. But I would buy it again. I love the app. but i wish it was more intuitive...i expect trial and error, but I wish it was a little bit easier to figure out. Still - 5 star. Happy with it and feel that I got my money's worth.
