Recommended Web Cameras

I ordered this modem to replace an older modem which I could not get my VPN to work through. This modem came highly recommended on several review web sites and it was VPN ready. When the modem arrived I set it up per the easy instructions and was back on the web in just a few minutes! And my VPN worked! A good product from a good company at a great price from B&H!

I have tried multiple cameras - finally did a ton of research and this was suppose to be the beat. YES it is!!!! Hands down it is the best web camera I've had! Would recommend it - totally worth the money.

We have dozens of these cameras across campus for web conferencing in classrooms. I like the fact they will power themselves off PoE. They work well and provide good contrast in variable lighting conditions. SDI video looks great. The hand-held remote has presets for common positions. They auto-orient themselves for ceiling or tripod mount. The web interface is a little messy, but most features can be found quickly. It does require Adobe Flash to see the web interface camera shot live (that requirement seems archaic). For the price, its a good value compared to much more expensive PTZ cameras with a lot more bells-n-whistles.

I have had previous iterations of Sony's underwater housing for cybershot cameras such as the MPK-WEB. I find this a vast improvement. The controls are well spaced and intuitive, giving full access to all the cameras features. The additional locking mechanism on the also side ensures no chance of inadvertently opening the back door while in use. I cant wait to try it out on our next adventure!!

I purchased this mount to suspend web cameras from our office ceiling tiles for collaborative physical whiteboard sessions. The product is high quality, stable and easy to use. I highly recommend them.

I use this to as a protective filter for all of my lenses. This is a fairly standard thing to have for both photography and video cameras - recommended to all.

Highly recommended. I have mine paired with my other 4 wired cameras. All runs through the Lorex app.
