There are multiple manufacturers making similar systems such as the Wireless GO II. My favorite part of the GO II system, is the ability to export 32-bit audio from the TX of this system to sync in post. I've talked directly to Rode, and they confirmed that when you set the GO II to record to each TX internally, set at Broadcast, you are capturing a RAW recording. So, when you export to 32-bit, you will have enough information to get the cleanest audio possible out of this device. Since audio files themselves are not that large, I usually export to 32-bit every time. Occasionally, when I'm making a simple YouTube video of a product review, I set up the GO to record directly to the camera. That's the beauty of this system. You can record directly to your camera, or export a high quality, 32-bit audio recording. Hence, it's a very flexible system. I could not recommend this more highly. It's a no brainer to me.

I use this to shoot double system sync with Pocket Cameras and the JVC LS300. I don't attach it to the camera, but have my sound person use it on a strap in the old Nagra style, with the optional external battery supply made for it. We phantom power a Sennheiser 416 on a pole, without a mixer or preamp, and the audio is excellent for documentaries. Since I only record one channel in my type of work, the audio monitoring complaint doesn't affect me. In fact, I set it at dual record and get two identical channels, with one set at minus 6db for protection. It's a very light and small unit, a real pleasure to use - reminds me of the Walkman Pro days.

The Hollyland Lark Max excels as a user-friendly portable microphone system geared towards run-and-gun filmmakers and social media content creators. The mics boast a compact design, 24-bit audio quality, and an intuitive touch screen interface on the vivid LCD receiver. The Lark Max includes a Vivid LCD Receiver, 2 Mic Transmitters, 2 windscreens, 2 magnets, audio cables, charging and connectivity cords, a charging case, and a zippered storage pouch, all contributing to its appeal. Its 820-foot transmission range and cost-effective pricing make it a standout choice in the market. The extended battery life and 8 GB of internal recording storage add flexibility for prolonged recording sessions. Additionally, its versatility allows it to function as an external recorder that integrates well with phones, action cameras, and mirrorless camera systems. I wish it had bluetooth connectivity to wirelessly pair with devices without the need of the receiver so you could just use one or two of the mics transmitting to an action camera, phone, or computer. I’m hoping the next iteration of the mics will include this feature. A few drawbacks include the absence of a record lock button and a relatively small record button, which might pose challenges for some users. The discreet red record light is a plus though! Navigating the menu system may require acclimatization, especially for those familiar with the DJI Mic system. Furthermore, when utilizing the system with a phone, users find the cord length comparatively longer than the more compact connection featured in the DJI Mic system. Perhaps, the most notable drawback, particularly for audiophiles, is the absence of 32-bit float audio, a feature that could have been the proverbial icing on the cake. Despite these considerations, the Hollyland Lark Max remains a versatile and affordable choice for those seeking a budget-friendly and feature-rich wireless microphone system for on-the-go filmmaking. I hope this helps in your jo

Makes it easy to record audio to an iPhone from the Rode Wireless Go II mic system. As simple as plug and play. I consider it an essential accessory for the Rode wireless system

Having come from the world of film/cinema where shooting double system sound is customary, I wanted a way to have both in-camera sync and double system at the same time when shooting video with the Canon 5DMkII. With the Sescom LN2MIC-ZMH4N I can record double system with the H4N while, at the same time record high-quality, usable audio directly into the camera. In this way, if I'm satisfied with the in-camera audio I can dispense with the annoying, time-consuming task of syncing the H4N audio to the 5DMkII video. A real time saver. And, the Sescom unit turns the in-camera audio signal into something usable and of high quality versus the poor audio that DSLRs record natively. When coupled with a good off-camera microphone DSLR audio delivers what DSLR video already does. The headphone monitor jack is also a big plus. For any serious DSLR videographer wanting usuable in-camera sound recording the LN2MIC-ZMH4 is a must have accessory in the kit.
