Record Screen Capture Windows

We bought this to record an interview with a client who wanted us capture his mother's memories clearly.

I use this recorder to capture sounds in nature when I hike and also to record me playing my jawharp on the go.

The Magewell USB Capture HDMI Plus is pretty much just plug-n-play and it works great. Both Windows and Linux PCs recognized it immediately. Tried it with my Nikon DSLR and a Cannon camcorder and both were flawless. Currently using this with Cannon camcorder to stream church services during Covid-19 and giving my smartphone a break. (Note, no fault of this product, but my Linux PC didn't see the audio feed from the Magewell, so I had to plug audio into the computer's mic-in port, but Windows saw the audio feed along with the video right away.)

The sound you can record with this recorder at this price range is amazing, not only you can use it as a recorder but also as a microphone that you can use directly to your windows/mac pc with a cable. Microphone is very sensitive so I suggest you get a windscreen

Ordered on-line and received in almost record time. I only have one complaint: The one received was for a windows computer. Had to remove everything on it, reformat it for MacOS before I could use it. I use to work as a SW Configuration Manager - wonder what a non-computer trained individual would have done.

Plugged it in. Instantly recognized. Set-up and interface with Windows Media Center was very easy.I have yet to record anything but the quality of the HD video was impressive. I won't toss the old SVHS machine yet but this is definitely a great update!

I use it to record and playback audio from Pro Tools 10 on Windows 7. What can I say, Its a really really fast Barracuda 2TB at a price NO ONE WILL BEAT!

With a pair it is a bargain to record stereo sound and work well with Windows, except one needs to manually turn up its recording level (Control Panel Hardware and Sound Sound Recording).

When I bought it, I had Windows 8.1, no issues at all.All 16 channels plus MIDI work beautifully.I love that I can record 16 channels simultaneously.If you want to record stereo, as someone else suggested in their review, just assign 2 channels to the stereo track - perfect!I now have Windows 10 installed and it works better than ever.I am running Pro Tools 11.3.1 on a PC laptop.I can't say enough good about my purchase, you won't find another 16-channel interface near this price, and top quality with rack ears included if needed.

I use this mic to record House Concerts. It is suspended over the artist to capture better sound than my video camera does. It captures the real ambience of the artist in a live performance. I wanted something simple to have at the front of the room to my Zoom H4 in the back of the room (about 22 feet) without distraction. It is vey small and inconspicuous...I had to point it out to one of my friends and he was sitting in the front row! I also wanted something simple to use. I don't do a lot of sound capture, so this was a must! The MX202BC is super simple to use. It took me less than 10 minutes to hang it and plug it in and do a sound check. My sound now sounds professional without a lot of hassle!
