Excellent screen to stay at home enjoying a movie

I will be shooting throughout the winter with gloves and the Sony movie record button is too recessed to easily find. This enhancement has already made life easier on cold autumn morning shoots. I do have an annoying habit of hitting it when handling the camera and frequently get a warning sign on the LCD.

I have two of the Grip Gear slider's - One from the Director's Set and the other from the Movie Maker's Set. Both of them work great! If trying to record audio, depending on where you locate your microphone you will hear motor noise, so I recommend adding in the audio voiceovers and soundtracks later. Very reliable. I lost the remote control to the Director's Set, but I was able to order a couple of spares directly from Grip Gear. I purchased additional tracks so that I can record moving video up to 12' feet.

I like to record old classic movies and I found that these discs record very clear. When I watch them, it's like watching the original movie. As a movie buff I like to record a lot of movies. These discs are very reliable and allow me to record three to four full length movies on a single disc with really good play back (lp speed). The sound you can record with this recorder at this price range is amazing, not only you can use it as a recorder but also as a microphone that you can use directly to your windows/mac pc with a cable. Microphone is very sensitive so I suggest you get a windscreen

Ordered on-line and received in almost record time. I only have one complaint: The one received was for a windows computer. Had to remove everything on it, reformat it for MacOS before I could use it. I use to work as a SW Configuration Manager - wonder what a non-computer trained individual would have done.
