Seamless integration with my Windows 11 laptop. Zoom connected to it and I was able to use my D780 for both audio and video with no problems.

I love the Zoom F3. The 32bit float recording is a fail safe. After running some tests, I can record at low volume and raise in post without raising the noise floor much. I can also record in audio that clips and still save my audio. Paired with a Rode NTG, the quality is amazing with good shielded TRS cable to XLR connection, that Rode offers, you can get comparable results to XLR mics. I'm using it for documentaries and I love the results, minimal post processing required for professional broadcast audio.

I love the Zoom H5. I'm using it as an audio interface to record my voice with a dynamic mic (Sennheiser e835). I run the Zoom H5 directly into my computer on USB bus power (no batteries or SD card needed) and record to Camtasia. The H5 preamps are strong enough for the Sennheiser, even though it's a dynamic mic, and the results sound very good to my ear. Much lower noise than my Tascam DR-40 (which can't be used as an audio interface anyway, unlike the Zoom H5) and my voice sounds clearer and more natural with the Zoom H5.

I'm amazed that this zoom recorder does so much for such a cheap price. The gain dials work great and there is an attenuation switch right next to each dial so you don't have to go into the menu if things get super loud. I was using the Roland r-26. The zoom does a few things that the Roland can not. It has 2 extra XLR inputs. You can control which channel you hear in the headphones and how loud it is in relation to other channels. I have the stereo mics that come with the zoom set to 5 on the gain dial and leave it there to record the same audio that my cameras are recording so I can sync the audio easily later. I turn the volume of that channel down to mute in the headphones so I don't have to hear it over the audio I'm actually trying to record with the XLR mics. The recorded audio sounds great. On one shoot I forgot my Shotgun mic and was forced to use the stereo mics that come with the Zoom. The audio was quite good. If you shoot in the studio like I do, this doesn't come with an ac power supply but it does come with the mini usb cord. You can find a cheap phone charger at any electronics store that will work with this recorder. I couldn't find a longer usb cord anywhere so I use an extension cord. The only thing I wish the zoom and every other recorder I've tried would do differently is give the option for all of the recorded files to end up in a single folder. Every time I hit record it sticks the files in a new folder. Then I have to manually open every folder to drag the files into premiere.

The Zoom H5 has everything necessary to record quality audio. The two 3-pin XLR cables allow for the plugging in of two lavaliere mic packs, two shotgun mics or any combination of two. I bought a little hotshoe attachment so that I could have this device on top of my DSLR while shooting.

I use my Zoom H6 to record a couple of music clients, with this equipment it is extremely easy for me to connect from your audio mixer, and maintain high audio quality, and for interview productions, I can connect up to 4 microphones, more than enough for the type of productions I do, the audio quality is excellent, a highly recommended product.

I love the Zoom H6. I primarily use the attachable mics to record audio during concerts for syncing with video later. The audio quality is great. It even records a backup track at -12 decibels below the level you've set, which has helped me out a couple times! Because it also has 4 XLR inputs, it can also be used as a field mixer. It's easy to use and setup, and the kit comes with everything you need to get started. I would definitely recommend this product.

I record audio of post game news conferences for a major youth sporting event, which I post online. Although a mixer would be ideal for connecting multiple mics to my Zoom H2 recorder, I couldn't afford the expense of a mixer, but I found this. You can't beat the price for the solution this provides. (To use this with the Zoom H2, you need a transformer to connect XLR to 1/8.)
