Record Screen Windows 8 Open Source

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] They work wonderfully well and I can have 2 windows open per screen. The automatically turn on and off with my laptop connected via docking station.

This set up helps me record footage away from a power source.

I put Gargoyle open source router software on it. It can do so much now. It's a snappy router.

Nice to know if one of many doors and windows are open using the ecobee app. with the sensors.

Using this to decode an NDI source to a projector in Church services with live stream. We previously were sending the Presentation Laptops screen to the OBS computer via NDI, and used a separate proprietary wireless video feed to the main projector. Got this so we can use the same NDI source for both and eliminate the wireless projector feed. It is working well. One thing to be aware of: the projector will display will go blank in a couple of seconds if there is no video and audio activity when using NDI Screen Capture as the source. This can be an issue during power points with static screens. You can set the decoder to keep the last thing displayed on the screen or allow it to go blank. I prefer it to go blank so I know something is wrong right away. You can also resolve by making sure the NDI Screen Capture is using an active audio source (like the microphone). This decoder has been reliable and is reasonably priced. Perhaps other decoders won't have the inactivity issue but they are also more expensive. This has not been a show stopper for us.

This is quite big but extremely portable for the size of light source you get with it. I use this to replicate day light coming through windows for architecture shots. But I can imagine I use this for portraits or other genres. Strongly recommend you purchase optional diffuser.

Very natural open sound...smooth.. So far have only used them to record acoustic guitar and tambourine but I was really pleased with the results. I have been using AKG P170s and have made nice recording with those mics but these mics are in a different league. The difference I hear is not subtle...excited about using them for other applications...

I use my Zoom H5 mostly for recording singing via a karaoke system. I have used Tascom CD recorder, but the Zoom H5 clearly makes recording so much easier and readily accessible for editing at your desktop with your DAW software. You can quickly record your singing session via the x/y microphone or the XLR connections at the bottom of the Zoom H5. Once you have selected input source and adjust the input source volume, simply the record button and you are on your way to make your recording. You can connect to the headphone connector to listen to the recording, and connect the Zoom H5 to your PC/MAC via the provided USB cable for sound editing and such. It is pretty simple and easy. I have yet to explore all the features that come with the Zoom H5, but so far I am very impressed with the sound quality that this little recorder is able to capture and produce, and the ease of use to record the audio. I highly recommend this product.

Pros: Allows for the use of an external power source that enables your GoPro to record video seemingly indefinitely, limited only by your external battery/source and card space. Before using this cord, recording at 4K would overheat the camera after about 40-50 minutes of use with the go pro battery pac or internal battery. Cons: Forces you to buy new housing if you don't have a simple frame style, though can be gotten for a low low price here on B&H.
