Record Sound From Computer Without Speakers

I don't use these monitors to record. I use these as computer speakers to listen to music, movie and etc. I hook them up with a DAC and use RCA. The sound is very clean (I hear things in my music that I never heard before!) The high and mid are sweet. The bass is ok. I have all setting on flat and vol on 0dB. I control the vol from the DAC. I like these monitors. I listen to the A7X and it sound better, but didn't fit my budget. 5 |

Without a doubt one of the best speakers I've ever used. This system is loud. The bass is pretty good, and the sound is top-notch. I can't complain with the price too, for just 90 plus dollars you get a lot from this. Also it's very easy to set up. Played with Gears 5 on this and the experience is wonderful. I felt my gaming system is complete because of this. Or maybe add more RGB. :) Like wise gamers say RBG gives more FPS! NOT! :) I recommend this speaker for sure! 5 |

I use this in order to record sound from DJ's speakers during my video taping. I would not change this product with any other. The sound that I record while working is unbelievable and unbeatable. It is easy to use and worth it. 5 |

I ordered a Korg DS-DAC-10R from B&H on the same day I ordered an Audioengine D1 from Amazon. Overkill? It struck me that the Korg has an unfortunate omission in its design. For Digital input, it only has USB. No Toslink or COAX S/PDIF. This diminishes its use a bit in my pov. So I saw the Korg's use in digitising my LP record collection. I will pare the Audioengine via Toslink with my Audioengine speakers attached to my desktop computers. Audioengine is also quite portable - pocket size. The Korg is solid and heavy in comparison. Okay, what about the sound? I have used the same Panasonic noise-cancelling headphones and same 256kbps MP3s for comparisons. My desktop computer is a high-end, custom-built machine with attention to audio components. Even so, mp3 playback is rather flat without a DAC. The Audioengine is definitely a step up. Clean and crisp. It brings more depth to the music, and pairs well with the Audioengine A2 speakers. Great for everyday music listening at my desk in my home office. The combination definitely beats a sound card and ordinary PC speakers. About US$170. I have not yet digitised LPs, but the Korg sounds gorgeous on playback of ordinary MP3s via the included AudioGate software. A big step up from Audioengine. Clear, separated sounds with wide range (bass and treble). Almost takes MP3s into HiFi era. The Korg is an audiophile component which suits a proper HiFi system. I will figure out how to permanently connect it to the sound system in my living room, with the record player hanging off it. At US600, it is more than 3.5x the price of the AudioEngine - for a reason. I can live with both. Horses for courses. Lots of evaluation pleasure to follow .... 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the best blend of old school vinyl and new tech wireless. I love it. I haven't had a record player since my husband's player broke about 20 years ago. Technology has evolved so much since then. This record player is light and sleek looking. The set up is simple and takes about 10 minutes. The instructions are very detailed and easy to follow. It's a simple record player, nothing complicated about the buttons or settings - almost a minimalist type of player. You can pair up to 8 devices to the player and it will automatically find and link to your devices when you put the record player into bluetooth pairing mode. So far we have paired the player to 3 sets of wireless speakers and it worked flawlessly. We also paired it with wires to our living room speakers to test out the sound. It was simply amazing. When this player reaches the end of an album, the stylus automatically goes back to the home position and it turns off. That is so great!! No more spinning records and wearing down the needle. It's a simple press of a button to play and a button to stop it. The simplicity is wonderful. And just because it's simple, don't let it fool you - the sound and quality are excellent. When I played our first album on here, we sat back to enjoy the awesome sound with the ever so subtle hiss of the needle on the vinyl. I loved it. Nothing beats playing a record - not MP3s, not CDs, nothing. I have about 500 records to go through and am are stoked to be able to rip the songs from the records to MP3s to play on our phones and in the car. This is an amazing function and so easily done from this record player. I had no idea there was such a thing as a wireless record player until now. I am bringing this Sony record player and my portable speakers to my friend's house this weekend. It will blow them away the way it did me. Well done Sony! 5 |
