I bought this mic to record vocals for rap/hip-hop/alternative music in my home studio. With the proper recording environment and mixing techniques this mic can produce near-industry standard recordings. For the low price this is an incredibly high quality mic and I would recommend it to anyone starting a home studio, anything cheaper than this just isn't worth it. It is important to remember that this mic is not all you will need, any mic will sound bad in a carppy environment, especially this mic. The AT2035 is VERY sensitive to background noise like fans, AC's, washing machines, computers and movement. 5 |

This is a fantastic product! I am not able to recored studio quality vocals, but I am also able to record instruments as well. I was able to get a great price on it and I feel that apart from the plastic knobs, it is made very sturdy and I am sure it will hold up to a lot. 5 |
