Recorder Instrument For School Pa

I generally play with one other person through this, but occasionally we get guests who either sing or need to plug an instrument in. This can accommodate all of us and we use the BT400 not the 600. We use a Mackie thump speaker out of the subwoofer port which helps with fullness of the sound, not that it's bad to begin with. The only amp we used to bring along with our old PA was the bass amp but don't even need that anymore. Awesome sounding, portable and all the basic functionality you would need for a two or three person crew. The portability is awesome, we only use when when we play out as we have a dinosaur Peavy PA for practice that stays where it is. I use this Yamaha as speakers for my computer if I know we have a lot of time between gigs. Awesome for just playing music or trying karaoke at home too. If you're going to be playing a passive instrument through channels 5-8, you're going to want a booster. 5 |

I use a Zoom H1-n as a back-up recorder taped to a PA system for live events, but having one of these cables handy allows me to use it for a whole variety of other uses. 5 |

This is one of those things that you've been missing for years. I shoot frequently in comedy clubs, and they have a wide range of in-house sound gear and it's not always great. Some places even plug a mic straight into the PA. This awesome little box allows me to pull a feed from any XLR mic before it goes into the PA, which means I get a nice clean audio track in my recorder with no effects and the club is none the wiser. Just mix that with some audio from a couple of SM57s set up to capture audience sound and you're in business. It's also nice that I can use it as a combiner should I ever be short an input on my recorder or my camera. I haven't had to do this in the field yet, but I've tested it at home and it works great. It's passive, so you don't need batteries or mains, and you even get phase and lift if you need them depending on your situation. The only downside is that, especially in a dark club, it's almost impossible to read the labels. I just used some neon pink spike tape to relabel mine. Oh, and that price? You can't argue with that price. You should probably get two, just in case. 5 |

Purchased this item to announce high school basketball games over the PA system. The first test was our tournament 22 games in 6 days and it worked great. The sound was clearer than the hand held mic. Would highly recommend. Ron from Missouri 5 |

We got the PA System for a school meetings and small events. It was used for the first time in an event that was held at the school gym, around 200 persons participated, sound quality and amp power were great. The system is light and has wheels, easy to bring to any room. 5 |

I use this recorder for school and church and set the record level to Auto. Played back through the tiny on-board speaker, recordings are thin and tinny. However, they ARE full range recordings and when played back through a PC, the full range clarity is revealed. I convert the WAV files to MP3 files, then run them through MP3Gain to normalize the audio. 5 |

This tripod is used to hold a Sony DVD recorder as I record High School Girls Basketball games. This tripod is easy to set up from anywhere within the bleachers of a gymnasium. I utilize the mouse slide out to hold the DVD recorder's power transformer. 5 |

We are a high school that uses this Pelican case to transport our audio board, switcher and digital recorder around to sporting events and other school activities. This case has proven to be very useful. 5 |
