Recording Instrument Audio Blown Out

I'm coming from a 1st Gen Scarlett 6i6. I am blown away by how clean my audio sounds now, not only in recording but the listening experience overall. I love the fact the interface has a smaller footprint and a simple USB-C cable powers it all. No more power brick. Sturdy build, quality knobs. The visual I/O meters are great. Nice touch. Did I mention how clean the sound is with the D/A converter? Just excellent. I should have upgraded sooner. 5 |

HERE IN FLORIDA, PM THUNDERSTORMS WIPE OUT ELECTRONICS. I LOST A CD PLAYER TO A STORM AND HAVE SEEN PCs BLOWN UP BY LIGHTNING. THIS ONE IS GUARDING MY MICROWAVE AND SMALL KITCHEN APPLIANCES. THIS IS A MUST HAVE IN FLORIDA. IF THIS APC DEVICE GETS BLOWN UP, JUST RETURN TO APC FOR ANOTHER ONE. 5 |

I was blown away by how strong the connection is between the Out Front Bike mount and my Every Day Fabric case. Does it's job perfectly. The set up is easy and secure. 5 |

This is the perfect item for powering clip-on instrument microphones or PZM's, especially when recording to a portable digital recorder with built in XLR jacks. Good Luck finding another model at this low price... 5 |

I use it for recording on a budget, and it works as a mic and guitar preamp. I would imagine that any other instrument you can plug into it would sound great as well. It has the distinctive sound that you'd expect from a valve. And with a guitar plugged up to it, any but the most picky audiophiles would be hard pressed to tell it apart from a tube amp. It also functions as a splitter as it sends signals through both the XLR and TS (1/4) outputs at the same time. It was so well worth the $ dollars that I ordered a second one within minutes of receiving the first. 5 |

I use this product in vocal recording and podcasting. I have some future plans for instrument recording with it and have done some testing there as well. This arm is quiet when moved and stays when I put it in a particular position. It works well with other mics as long as they have a bit of weight. The only thing I found that may be a minus is when it is used with a light microphone, but I find that to be an obvious problem for a spring loaded broadcast arm. 5 |
