Recording Microphone For Music

I am a music teacher, I have my lessons in there for my students, also my personal laptop, pens, and a "recording microphone" and a book to read along the way. (I travel by Train), I love its color, its style, it does not weigh and it has a double protector, so that it is not easily opened by thieves. 5 |

I've been recording in the music industry for decades. This microphone has the quality of something twice its price. I bought these for podcasting purposes and wanted a quality microphone but for a reasonable budget. It was between the RODE and Sure SM7B which most podcasters use. The Sure was close to double to price and the sound is similar. Also, since the RODE is a condenser, you can boost the output using phantom power. You can't with the Sure, you need a separate booster. Also, it's sounds amazing for recording amps, vocals (really good!), and acoustic guitar. If you do not have the budget for a $1,000.00 microphone, this is a versatile workhorse. 5 |

Purchased this microphone to be able to record music for our church livestream and it works incredibly well! Such a helpful mic for recording that gives lots of clean gain that comes out so well in any recording. Also has adjustable features for rolling off bass or boosting presence. Highly recommend them - get one! 5 |

Incredible live music microphone, or for recording up close instruments. While it is not as sensitive as say Nt5's for ambient and nature sounds, when given a substantial volume the mic really shines. I love it. 5 |

I have found Verbatim CD-Rs for Music Recording to be a reliable choice for music recording but have been unable to find them locally recently. B & H shipped the discs promptly and at a very reasonable price and also included a sales receipt which many online shippers fail to do. I will order from this company again when more discs are needed. 5 |

The Olympus ME-52W Noise Cancellation Microphone adds further versatility to your Olympus Digital Recorder (A WS-321M in my case). The Microphone comes as part of a four piece kit that includes the microphone, a 1m long extension cable, a tie-clip style clothing clip and a foam wind screen that fits over the microphone. The microphone itself is hinged above the 'mic/input' jack on the top of the recorder where it can be adjusted horizontally by rotating it in the jack and vertically through using a hinge incorporated at the microphone's base. This external mic provides far superior clarity and range over the WS-321M built-in microphone! With the microphone inserted directly into the input jack it allows the user to hold the whole unit like a handle with the mic projected unimpeded out of the top. I found the mic very handy during news scrums and while taking personal notes as the risk of covering the recorder's built-in mic is eliminated. The tie-clip mic holder is useful mainly when recording a stationary subject or when recording yourself when you need your hands free. It's very straightforward to use and easy to remove the mic from it quickly. Lastly, the wind screen cap was also surprisingly useful. It really made a difference in sound clarity when recording in windy conditions and recording in a vehicle with the windows open or the top down. All in all this is a very inexpensive purchase considering the value and versatility it adds to your recorder. Really a 'must have' if you're serious about the recordings you make. 5 |
