These were my first purchase toward building my own VO recording studio in my apartment and I love them. I don't yet have all the equipment I need for recording so for now, I use them for listening to music but they're great. I'm just getting started in VO work so these have been recommended for real-time monitoring by an instructor. I'll probably upgrade at some point to an even better pair but by far the nicest set I've ever personally owned. 5 |

I use this product in vocal recording and podcasting. I have some future plans for instrument recording with it and have done some testing there as well. This arm is quiet when moved and stays when I put it in a particular position. It works well with other mics as long as they have a bit of weight. The only thing I found that may be a minus is when it is used with a light microphone, but I find that to be an obvious problem for a spring loaded broadcast arm. 5 |

As any SSL product, this mixer/interface is very well built and has awesome sonic quality! It is definitely worth the price tag! There is a small learning curve, but for anyone whose worked with analogue mixers before and digital audio interfaces, there should be no problem. As a mac user, I definitely appreciate not having to install any drivers and being able to just connect to my iMac or Macbook and start recording right away. I think this product is perfect for anyone who wants a complete recording interface, plans to add analog sound to their recordings or mixes, or plans to add external gear. 5 |
