Just what I needed as backup security for my garage studio lights that are suspended from ceiling.

A must-have for use with ceiling mounted lights!

These are great for attaching them to a Superclamp and hanging lights from the ceiling in my studio. They are adjustable in length and my lights can be either be up close to the ceiling, or nearly touching the floor! Not a complaint about them!

I use these couplers to hang fluorescent bank lights from the ceiling in my studio, and they're rock-solid. Easy to install, and strong enough to hold a decent amount of weight. The coupler ring (i.e. the part that clamps to pipes, etc.) is pretty wide, and wouldn't work on objects as think as standard light stands. But on scaffolding, or other pipes with a similar diameter, it's perfect.

In setting up my home studio, I got four of these to hang lights and an overhead camera. The alternative was heavier and more expensive grip gear, and I felt it was worth trying the cheaper route and keeping it light. So far these work very perfectly. Find studs in your ceiling, and then place a thin piece of wood between the ceiling and this base, and you're golden. I recommend beefier screws than the included ones, however.

We have a drop ceiling in our studio area and needed to hang some lights from our 10 high ceiling. I did not realize that when you turn the baby it tightens the scissors making the fixture safer. The lights are safer than I thought they would be.

I use these to put studs on my studio drop ceiling to hang lights for video use, they are very sturdy and well constructed, well worth the price.

These lights are great - small but very bright, lightweight and quiet. We use it for video recording studio. They are light and easy to hang on varipoles. Would recommend if you’re looking for an all-in-one kit.

I bought the On-Stage MY900 Ceiling Bar for Microphones and Lights and out of the box it could not hang my lights (very basic lights, btw...) I could find NO other product to make it work than this one! For me it's working fine. I mounted the light to it and it's doing it's very simple job.
