...or so I read...they are standard equipment in virtually every recording studio. Super comfortable with clean, unbiased sound. I’ve had three sets of (Higher priced) headphones from other makers, I like these best by far.

This is one of the most useful pieces of equipment I carry. It is a must for anyone recording or shooting out of the studio on location. Extremely rugged and dependable, clamps tight.

I use the Kopul PDI-40 for live gigs and in a recording studio. It is a well built piece of equipment. Metal casing with all the ins and outs I need. It is quiet, with solid ground lift and attenuation switches. There are certainly more expensive and loaded boxes out there but I cannot imagine that they are any better put together.

These were my first purchase toward building my own VO recording studio in my apartment and I love them. I don't yet have all the equipment I need for recording so for now, I use them for listening to music but they're great. I'm just getting started in VO work so these have been recommended for real-time monitoring by an instructor. I'll probably upgrade at some point to an even better pair but by far the nicest set I've ever personally owned.

Matthews is among the top names for lighting and grip equipment. Their C-stands are time-tested. I've used less expensive brands, which are fine for occasional use. If you want the most rugged, battle-proven stands in the business go with these. One of the biggest differences between the Matthews and other brands is the knuckle or grip head. Lowest cost units aren't as smooth and sometimes freeze up. I've had to hit these other brand heads with a wrench to free them up. If you work a lot and/or appreciate fine craftsmanship, go with Matthews. If you only use C-stands occassionally, you can probably get by with the lower priced unit.
