Recording Studio Mic To Headphones Set

Used this to set up a home recording studio where I constantly have to reposition the mic. Was worried that this would have issue that I've seen other booms where the motion itself would cause a lot of audio back into the recording, but this one was surprisingly smooth and quiet. Additionally it had wire guides and velcro straps so that the mic line going over each of the joints was really easy to secure and not likely to get tangled or pulled during the motion. Very nice attention to detail. Only negative that I noticed was that the screw tensioner to hold the mic boom in a particular position, The silver knob right at the end next to the mic, this was difficult to tighten enough to keep the microphone locked into a particular position. But this was minor and with some adjustment, it's easy to keep the mic where you want it ... Overall, I'm very glad I purchased this.

I wanted to set up a home recording studio for voice work and audiobook recording. I have a $2,100 Neumann TLM 67 mic, at my Recording Studio, but I needed a decent studio condenser mic that would allow me to produced all my projects, (with Vocals), at my home studio, with no extra pre-amps or XLR cabling. This mic blew me away! The C01U is an EXCELLENT purchase.
