Easy installation, in my case the old drive failed and stopped working so couldn’t recover the old data. Used the WiFi to upload operating software.

We are using a flash drive to store and playback videos on a portable projector. I tried with a USB 3.0 Flash Drive, thinking the newer version was better. But the projector had a different idea. I learned from the professionals at B+H that this unit requires an older USB 2.0 Flash Drive. I never would have thought of that but sure enough, when I used this Verbatim 64G Ergo USB 2.0, the projector recognized the videos and played them flawlessly.

I bought it to let me recover data from the SSD in my 2014 MBP. It is a sturdy unit and does exactly what it is supposed to do.

I had a very close call and thought that I had lost many years-worth of important files and photos. That literally felt like a boxer-punch to the guts. By a miracle the data was saved. I did research and bought the 100gb BDXL discs - they need a specifically capable burner for their triple layers. I got those discs and the drive from B&H. Worked perfectly. After securing two sets of data on those, I became nervous and decided to go with additional backups, but on dual-layer M-Disc medium. These took eight discs for each set, but that was sixteen burned with no issues and a LOT of peace of mind gained. Look into M-Disc for archival storage and be especially careful of the drive you need for each type. Start now and these 25gb's are fine. I had to play catch-up but all good now. Literally no worries!

Had to pull data from a dead laptop. Pulled the harddrive, plugged it in, and was able to recover all of the data easily. Smaller than older connectors i used in the past.
