Red Light With Flashing Yellow Arrow

Bright white light is very bright. Red/red-flashing light is cool -- not sure if I'll ever use it. Good fit and balance (with batteries in back). Lightweight and comfortable. Looks suitably geeky. Very happy with my purchase.

Kinda nice to have something in between is it actually doing anything yellow and ain't no light getting through me red.

This is a very nice headlamp, without two levels of white light, a red light and a flashing red light.  Having the battery pack on the back makes it much easier to balance and the straps are adjustable over a wide range.

My APC UPS sounded off every few hours with beeps and a flashing red light to let me know it was time to replace the battery. I ordered online and the battery arrived sooner than expected. I installed it and it's been working fine since. The part I especially like, I didn't have to shut everything off to install.

includes RED BLUE YELLOE AND GREEN!!! not just the Red blue and yellow!!! Works great for any Par can light thats not an LED I just have american Dj products so i cant say for other companies par cans. Easy to cut if you dont need the whole 9x9 sheet great colour quality on smaller watt lamps the blue is pretty dark. But thats OKAY! yellow is basically just a dimmed down white but it looks pretty Cool, Add yellow and Red to make a pink, Red well is Red and works great Green well a bright colour green but not overly green. Blue is a nice dark blue that works better from far away with higher wattage PARs with lower wattage it looks really dark from far away but is bright up close. Overall I would give this product a 5 out of 5 , for my use with my ADJ P-16A special light well worth the money

I was impressed how much the red tones have increase in saturation with the filter. It's nice to have it done in-camera rather than in Lightroom/Photoshop as it saves time in editing. From foliage to cars and almost anything in red, it will definitely make it stand out! Besides the usual red enhancing color, I'm sure why we all came here for and that reason is for Astrophotography. This supposedly reduces the yellow/hazy light pollution from suburban lights at night as it cuts down the yellow/amber wavelength of sodium lights emitting at night. Of course, the best way to see the difference is to still seek a dark place first and then the filter will cut down any ambient distant light pollution with ease. As a bonus, it helps with the rendition of stars and other objects that may seem different without the filter. So far it's been good and also remember that the filter takes about a stop or two so adjust your exposure accordingly.

but it is unsettling to have the upstream light flashing

I keep the Poly-Steel 700 in my truck because of the fact it has the red flashing light on it. If I would have trouble I can just turn it on and stick it to the truck since it also has a magnet. It has the zoom on the front end and all the lights are bright. I have several Coast lights and all of them are high quality and well designed. I will always be a Coast customer. The warranty and customer service is second to none.

I bought this so I could be in more pictures with my kids! Totally beats running back and forth from the tripod to race the flashing red light!

Brighter than I expected on high white mode. We must cycle through all 5 modes, but white has 3, than red (flashing red is included). I hand hold it to cross the street so people can see me and I don't hit the curb. Also helps to avoid puddles in the street and toys in the driveway! AA convenience is King!!
