Red Paper Shreds

I ordered lots of gear from B&H, all the boxes were torn to shreds and the delivery driver taped them back up. All boxes also apNot one box but 3 boxes, delivered on different days all damaged and opened... The gear all works and seems undamaged, but its very odd that all boxes were torn up and had been opened and taped shut. Im concerned now that I got counterfeit gear. Ive ordered $25k in gear over two months from different places but wouldnt order from B&H again because of this.

It is supplying red ink to my printing paper. It is hard to elaborate!

No matter what the paper is....Canon or Red River, I always get wonderful results from my printer with Canon ink. It is so easy to get a real, professional photo at home for me or actual customer. Had to get individual tanks this time because the ink set is unavailable at this time.

Excellent paper, show quality prints. Skin tones were a little on the red side, but after calibrating my monitor with the Spider Elite calibration kit everything is now perfect!

Gorgeous paper. Takes the ink for perfect color and Magnificent detail in my series, Red Hook. Wouldn’t use any other paper for this series.

I will use this paper to make large prints of the red rock country of Utah. It gives a good rendering in a monochrome print.

I was having trouble with a red light that came w the darkroom starter kit fogging up my paper. This light had worked out great! No problems thus far!

There are dozens upon dozens of papers out there and the majority of professional quality papers perform as they are expected to perform. What differentiates papers is feel, look, base color, surface characteristics, etc. Ultimately, when choosing from among professional quality papers, whether you like something or not comes down to a matter of personal taste. I use metallic papers for certain Black & White images. I have never printed color on a metallic paper. I've used metallic papers by Red River, Ilford, Hahnemuhle, and now Moab. Moab is a bit less glossier than the Ilford and Red River, so I would call it a soft gloss. I've done about 10 prints thus far (pigment HP B9180). They produce rich blacks and extremely crisp--quasi-metallic--whites, which is why one chooses such a paper. Basically, this one is up there with the best of them.

This paper is a beautiful shade of red. It is not too bright and not too dark. I used it as a backdrop in my school's auditorium for a performance. It looks really nice!

Savage Seamless Paper is great because of its durability, and the Primary Red is the perfect color for the project I'm working on.
