Reducing Noise Recording Keyboard To Computer

When setting up a sound booth, reducing background noise is good. So... Placing your computer (and its loud fan) at a distance helps, but it can/will diminish the function of your wireless mouse and keyboard. With these cables you can have it both ways - your computer can be distanced from your mic and the dongles to your mouse and keyboard can be kept close.

I used this on an Earthworks TC20 mic for outdoor recording and it worked great at reducing the wind noise. I intend to order another to have a matched stereo pair available to use.

Really good for reducing wind noise reduction

I bought this because I had issues in my home studio with EMI introducing noise in certain recording situations. Namely, recording a Fender jazz bass (single coils) with a DI. The recording computer is the culprit. I shielded the bass, which helped, but not enough when using high-gain amp sim plugins. Enter the SS-6B. Plugging the computer in to the SS-6B attenuated the noise by almost 50%. If I record the bass standing as far away from the computer as I can get, I'm now able to record without any noise!

The isolation chamber is great. I have noise from my computer and a nearby Synology NAS that I have to compete with when recording YouTube sessions. This item does the trick. I even got a Presonus PD-70 rigged up to work inside the chamber. It's a little big, but I was able to insert from the bottom, after removing the ring.

This acoustic baffle is perfect for reducing reflections behind my seat when doing voice over recording.

Very easy to install and use. I was particularly interested to have a noise reducing microphone and this headset microphone does the trick.
