Great for elderly eyes!

I have owned Apple notebooks since they were first made - you don't dare own a notebook without AppleCare. B&H had an excellent price on this necessary product.

I purchased a refurbished 15 Macbook Pro from Apple and did not get the Apple Care warranty with the computer. This place has the best price and saved me $100 on the agreement price. It registered with no issues. I can tell you that it is rare that Apple stuff goes bad but when it does, you will be glad you got this. I am not sure how BH does it, but glad they do. If I am ever in the market for a new Macbook in the future, I will shop here first.

Every windows PC notebook I've ever owned has died within the first 2-3 years (IBM, Fujitsu, Sony), its just the nature of that sort of machine (they get too hot), so having a 3 year warranty on a notebook is a must. B&H Photo had the best deal available on the Applecare 3 year warranty.... Quite simple to activate, just go to the Apple website enter the ID within the received Applecare box, the machine serial number and you're done. Received a confirming email from Apple within 30 seconds of activating. Piece of mind for the next 3 years ^-^

Unfortunately, soon after I received my notebook, coffee was spilled on it and became inoperational. Using the protection plan I was able to get Apple to repair it. It took several weeks, but eventually, I got back the computer repaired.

I don't consider myself an Apple fan. However, this notebook exceeded my expectations. The screen is very bright with crisp, clear images at 2K resolution and this new M1 chip is overwhelming (very fast and didn't crash even when I opened a bunch of apps at the same time just to see if I could convince my wife that Apple is expensive, plastered and crashes more than any other PC). Anyway, I will keep using my MSI notebook for a few reasons: I'm not a millionaire (and Apple apparently thinks we all are) and I don't want to support my wife, even knowing that in marriage, you have to choose between Be happy or Be right. ;-)

It’s so nice to have a apple based notebook rather than a windows based one. It’s fast, screen is super easy to read and most important my wife loves it!!!.. our 2023 Christmas gift to each other.

Since Apple no longer supports this notebook I did some searches for an aftermarket battery and found that NewerTech was by far the most named. The directions included were clear and easy to follow. I was also amazed to see that they included the 2 screw drivers needed. I have not seen an increase in time the battery lasts like some have even though I went through the process of getting it synced with the os. It recharges super fast though. I am happy with the battery, would purchase again and recommend.
