I had debated whether to go for the refurbished instead of new but decided it was worth it to save almost $300. The fact it was Nikon Refurbished and therefore has a Nikon Warranty means the extra warranty protection from my credit card should also apply. Well I got my camera and except for the fact that it wasn't in the pretty gold box, it looks jut like new - My first picture was shutter activation #1! I am very happy about my purchase and am having fun learning about all of the new features compared to my old D90. I took a group picture at my Rotary Club meeting using the Nikon SnapBridge and was even able to adjust the exposure to compensate for backlighting.

6 months later it's on 18hrs/day, no problems. If you still need VGA, this will work well for you. Good color out of the box, no complaints.

I ordered a UC-E6 cable for my Coolpix camera on Sept.6 2016 from B&H Electronics. Nikon and most other sites were out of stock for this specific cord.My order was shipped from Brooklyn N.Y. to Wasilla Alaska on the 6th and arrived at my home on the 10th. I was looking for a simple alternative and solution to my habit of finding a coffee mug or something similar to prop up my iPhone when reading. When I realized that Peak Design had such a solution I immediately hiked over to their NYC store. All the wallet options were on display at the store and I chose a color that integrates very well with my sage green Apple iPhone case. The case easily holds several cards but all I need is a credit card and a driver's license. I could have bought a Peak Design case as well, which may have provided an even tighter grip, but I didn't feel that it was necessary. This is a very good case, it is well made, it is built and designed as promised and I'm very happy with it.

I bought this bag in store in New York on my way to Europe. A Nikon D800 is my primary camera, and although I typically have a Nikkor 24-70 and battery grip attached, I decided to scale it down as small as possible to only the body + cheap Nikkor 50mm f1.8. It fit nicely in the bag with an acceptable amount of bulging. The fabric divider with velcro attachments provided enough space to place a large iPhone battery life extender + iPhone cable, Zoom H2 audio recorder, and mobile wifi hotspot. I placed an extra Nikon battery in one end pocket, some business cards and a lens cloth in one of the front pockets and a polarizer in the other. The bag looked stylish while on the go (I especially like the seatbelt-style strap), and held up extremely well in the rain ? all gear stayed dry. My one complaint is more a hypothetical: The hooks(?) that attach the strap to the bag seem way to easy to detach, although this never actually happened. I thought about getting some zip ties to keep this from happening, but it wasn't a problem. Such a beautiful, functional bag. If I ever need to, I'll buy another, but I doubt it'll be necessary. Great bag.
