I have purchased this lens to photograph sports, including cricket, soccer, rugby, bmx, dog trials etc. My first impressions where the very solid and stylish construction. On camera the focusing is smooth, fast and silent-I have a K10 and suspect the K7 will be even quicker. Results are very sharp with exceptional contrast. Is heavy but lighter than expected for such a well constructed 300mm. 5 |

Took this to the cricket ground and sat on it for a couple of hours' shooting the action. Easy to set up (in one second!), easy to break down (also in one second!), easy to carry, and - best of all - gentle on my behind and on my back, even without a cushion. No pain, no strain. 5 |

My daughter calls it the noisy cricket. It's about the diameter and a little longer than the AAA battery inside but it's very bright, blindly so. It's much brighter and focused than my much larger and heavier multi-cell multi-LED lights. 5 |

I use the Manfrotto 400 geared head for our domestic cricket series in Australia, we have 4 locked off HD cameras mounted up on scaffolding with a shot of the pitch including both wickets, the shot is required to be exact as it is keyed using a graphic representation of the wickets, this is used to show if the ball continued on its path, would it have knocked down the wickets. The geared head is fantastic allowing fine adjustment and getting the exact position on all cameras. I now own 8 units. I am extremely happy with this product. 5 |

I had debated whether to go for the refurbished instead of new but decided it was worth it to save almost $300. The fact it was Nikon Refurbished and therefore has a Nikon Warranty means the extra warranty protection from my credit card should also apply. Well I got my camera and except for the fact that it wasn't in the pretty gold box, it looks jut like new - My first picture was shutter activation #1! I am very happy about my purchase and am having fun learning about all of the new features compared to my old D90. I took a group picture at my Rotary Club meeting using the Nikon SnapBridge and was even able to adjust the exposure to compensate for backlighting. 5 |

First, 60W will probably meet your needs in a small video studio. I only use 2-8% of the output. Secondly, a standard modifier platform (Bowens' S mount), has saved me a great deal of time. The lower cost silent heads would only accept barndoors, gaffing tape and aluminum foil. Far Far easier to repurpose old modifiers or purchase new. Previously, I would have to retape the foil at inopportune times. SILENCE is critical for me. Recording a cast once correctly is worth all the post processing in the world. Nothing beats SILENCE. 5 |

It takes some getting used to. I always shoot it at EI 100. It has all the tonal range you need right there. It always requires underdevelopment though, anywhere from 8% -15%. The highlights blow out very easily, and this helps control them. Scratches easily, a bit softer than HP5. The lack of grain looks phenomenal at a large scale. 5 |
