This is a great, sturdy, light weight carbon fiber tripod. The legs can be locked and unlocked with a 1/4-1/2 turn which makes it quick to operate. But the most important feature for me is the maximum height without extending a center column. As a 6'4 man, having a tripod that can mount a gimbal head high enough to comfortably shoot UPWARDS is fantastic. 5 |

This thing exceeded my expectations. It is silky smooth, positive, solid as a rock locked or unlocked and it has no wobble or backlash. If you need this size platform I can't imagine a better one. It's a great piece of kit! 5 |

The drawer works great and unlike some of the other brands, whether the drawer is locked or not you can still remove the key! I know some brands don't allow you to remove the key when it is unlocked. Not on this bad boy, it was built right! 5 |

I had debated whether to go for the refurbished instead of new but decided it was worth it to save almost $300. The fact it was Nikon Refurbished and therefore has a Nikon Warranty means the extra warranty protection from my credit card should also apply. Well I got my camera and except for the fact that it wasn't in the pretty gold box, it looks jut like new - My first picture was shutter activation #1! I am very happy about my purchase and am having fun learning about all of the new features compared to my old D90. I took a group picture at my Rotary Club meeting using the Nikon SnapBridge and was even able to adjust the exposure to compensate for backlighting. 5 |
