Refurbished Mac Studio Apple M1 Max

Works just fine with my Mac Studio Max M1 computer, does not require any drivers or software, I don't know about PCs but on the Mac it's excellent and the price is excellent also.

In my previous review of my new Apple Mac Studio M2 Max I mentioned I purchased it to replace my old Mac mini. What I didn't know is that my great Apple 27 LED Cinema Display wasn't compatible with the new Mac Studio video output. One call to B&H put me in contact with a service consultant who immediately suggested getting the j5create USB Type-C to 4K Mini DisplayPort Adapter. On arrival it took just a minute to add that to my set up and upon reboot, fast and beautiful display. Happy Days are here again.

Still waiting for my Apple Mac Mini M1 to ship.

So far, it seems to be noticeably faster than my comparably equipped Studio with an M1 Max. I had people tell me I wouldn't notice, but I do. The battery life is amazing. Doing a zoom broadcast with external camera and sound, my old MacBook Pro would deplete the battery in less than an hour. Starting at 100% this dropped to 75% in an hour of broadcasting. For easy tasks, word processing, web browsing it lasts about two business days!

I have this running on a MacPro M1 Max in my studio, Lots of ports, NVME RAM on the external TBolt port, a monitor on DPort, and all but one USB-C port connected running a Daw controller, keyboards, and a bunch of other device. Good unit

works well with my Mac mini M1- my old wired apple keyboard and the new Mac mini did not like each other so I was forced to buy new keyboard - no regrets works like a champ.

The Apple 24" iMac with M1 chip is a vast improvement over my former Mac Mini. It's super fast, operates smoothly and fully accommodates ever I need in a computer and bright monitor.

I have a new Apple M1 Mac mini and an Apple Cinema Display. This is the ONLY CABLE you need to connect them together (assuming you already have the associated power brick & its cables). For about $15 you can use an old reliable monitor with the newest M1 Mac mini. I tried 3 or 4 other cables (spending about $200) from B&H in addition to other retail/online sellers - none of them worked. This cable does the job

I got this to run an Apple 'superdrive' with a Mac Air M1. The drive consumes more power than can be transmitted by a combo adapter (like the Moshi Symbus Mini 7-in-1 portable USB-C hub I have). This Belkin adapter does the job.

When I bought this, I thought I would have to use it on my old Mac because the box and the salesman said it would not work with Apple, silica. When I went to download the software from their website, it had an option for software for the M1 chip. Works great on my M1 mini. Very responsive
