I wanted a wired remote for occasions when the TC-80N3 Timer/Remote Controller is a little too much, and when the RC-6 infrared remote is a little clunky. This remote is perfect! The plug fits into the camera very accurately (not so much with 3rd party remotes) and the performance is very reliable. What more can I say? It's great! 5 |

The remote works as advertised. You need to put the camera on one of the timer modes, then use the remote to activate the shutter. Remote has a switch in the back to change from instant shutter or 2 second delay shutter. Worked seamlessly with both a 6D and a 80D. I wish it worked via radio signal rather than IR beam, as it seems to require rather close line of sight to work. Overall I'm satisfied with it, specially for the low price that B&H sells it for! 5 |
