Bought this remote to replace a wired Vello release and 'escape the cord.' The cost on this item is deceptive, as one might not expect too much at this price point. I was more than pleasantly surprised. The build quality is solid and smooth. No more action was required than to place the battery in the receiver and mount it to the camera. I am using mine with the D7100. I have triggered it at 100' with no issue. What is really nice is that additional coiled camera interface cables can be purchased--allowing this unit to work with a variety of cameras! 5 |
