I used this in conjunction with a backpack strap clip (Pgytech Beetle Clip) to give me peace of mind when hiking. I've heard the stories of other clips failing and your camera tumbling so I'd figure the extra few grams for this was worth it. Held up fine and even helps calm my nerves when taking photos near steep cliffs near the trail! 5 |

So far I'm impressed with this camera clip. It's very well made and it appears to have a few advantages over the similar product made by Peak Design. The Beetle specs indicate that it can be used on a wider strap than the PD product, and since my strap was beyond the specs for the PD product this is a plus. Also the fastening mechanism is very convenient and adjustable without swapping out any parts. In stead of tightening screws, you just use a flip lock. I have tried it with a fairly heavy DSLR and lens, and it worked perfectly. It's a little less expensive than the PD product, but not enough for that to be a factor in my choice. I look forward to using the Beetle for years. 5 |

I have a Beetle protective case on my Samsung 9.7 inch tablet and I could not make the strap fit through the USB opening and get the case back on. I then tried it through one of the top speaker openings and it worked. This is actually better for me since I use it a lot in a side by side UTV and it hangs from the shift knobs very well. 5 |
