I wanted a wired remote for occasions when the TC-80N3 Timer/Remote Controller is a little too much, and when the RC-6 infrared remote is a little clunky. This remote is perfect! The plug fits into the camera very accurately (not so much with 3rd party remotes) and the performance is very reliable. What more can I say? It's great!

This remote simply does what it is supposed to do. If you don't feel the need for the timer of TC-80N3, go for it.

Other than a jack, this compact jump starter is the number one item every car should have in it. Completely discharged my battery overnight, hot the"boost" and the car turned over immediately.

I feel that some of Canons accessories are very overpriced. This Vello remote compares feature-to-feature with the Canon TC-80N3 at a fraction of the price. This is a very versatile remote.

I bought the Ruggard RTC-10 case for the Canon TC-80N3 remote as I did not want the remote or the cable to dangle from the camera. I assumed at first that the remote could be mounted via a 1/4” or 3/8” screw to an additional head, but I later discovered that this could not be achieved. Furthermore, I wanted the remote in a soft case. I then went online and found the RTC-10. I had no difficulties with attaching it to a designated leg and sliding the remote in and out of the case. The elastic trimming ensures that the remote remains snug and it will not fall out while I am on the move. It is an excellent case and I recommend it to all.
