At first I was baffled not knowing how to make it work. I think I did correctly set up in the camera menu setting. Yet the remote was not working at first. I checked the battery and it was a brand new one. So I called NikonUSA technical support and the technician told me about sensor next to nikon logo on the front upper right of my d7500. Also I noticed that in the battery chamber there was a cellulose stuck to the new battery which I did not notice first time when I opened it. I removed the cellulose away from the battery and learned also the remote infrared does not work when I used the remote while I kept the remote inside within the case.It looks like I have to take it out from the case to use it to work. The other finding was that after I use the remote I have to go back to the menu setting to switch the menu from off to on. For some reason I have to switch the remote setting every time I have to use it again. Maybe I don't know how to keep it on. Other than that it is a sleek small light and nice looking remote. I love it. 5 |
