I bought several of these lights and they work just as described. Easily controlled by a remote from the the camera. Low cost.

An excellent companion for the E-PL1. This flash can be remote controlled by the camera without the use of any other equipment. Have used it in Auto TTL mode exclusively and the resulting photos were correctly exposed vast majority of the time. The size of the flash is also just about right on the E-PL1, since the FL-50R would've been way too big. Cycling time is not spectacular, but acceptable for casual use.

This is a must-have especially if you're flying a remote-controlled camera and your fingers and hands are exposed to the elements for a long period of time this will definitely keep your fingers and the back of your hand warm

Maybe not intended but this camera opens a new world for nature photography!!!. It is rugged, waterproof and can be remote controlled. Time lapse option is also useful leaving the camera to take pictures for hours. I love this thing!!!! (just please extend wireless remote control range

The freedom that this new Remote Controlled Digital Mixer has given the people who run the mixer for services at church a chance to adjust volumes in real time without running back and forth from an isolated room. The extra inputs on this unit helped to consolidate all of the mics that currently had two separate mixers in the equipment rack. Tablet allows a person to actually hear what is going on in the auditorium instead of guessing from what they are hearing on the headphones. We should have done this a year ago!

After I figured out my phone, all went well. Took my first remote controlled photos yesterday and was very pleased. Great unit that looks quite versatile.

I use this to connect my remote controlled mp3 player to sound systems for my shows. I love using the 1/8 inch connection, it's much simpler and an easier cable to carry than the 1/8 to RCA. And the summing of the stereo channels to mono seems to be flawless with this DI. It is the perfect companion for anyone who presents shows or lectures using an iPod, computer, or just about any stereo input source to mono Canon XLR inputs. It's a little bit bigger and bulkier than the comparable Ross, but for the difference in price the rugged construction and input options far outweighed the convenience of the smaller size.

I bought 3 of these units from B&H and I have been so happy with them so far, they last me for a whole wedding, easy to use simple and can be controlled from a small remote. A must have for a pro photographer.

I originally bought the ART AVDirect to use with my remote controlled MP3 player in my variety shows. It works great, but it's a strange size and has all kinds of connections I just didn't need and that tended to confuse sound men who, let's just say, were not as experienced as you'd like. This DI is more expensive, but I love the much smaller size and the simplicity of the design. There's not much to get wrong on this one. And the summing to mono is great. Anybody want to buy an ART AVDirect?
