Bought a couple of these little dongles for two Mac mini servers I use exclusively via Remote Desktop. The speed change is amazing, almost like you are at the remote machine itself. All I did was plug them in, did a quick reboot just to be sure they didn't interfere with a remote restart/services, and that's it... Interestingly now when I click Displays in system settings, I get two windows pop open, one for the local monitor and one for the dongle. Very nice.

I used the remote together with the Vello 10' Remote Shutter Extension Cable For Nikon 10-Pin Connection and it gave me a great reach to work on self portraits. Couldn't be happier.

How can I establish a wired connection with my desktop to use Microphone as well as speakers both? I am using ASUS X99 Deluxe motherboard and it has several connection options and that's confusing me a little bit. I read in some answers below it's recommended to use 3.5mm jack with 3 rings(aka TRSS or 4 pole cable). Does the cable on the PC end need to have a splitter, so that it can go in the line-in and mic-in ports of the motherboard(ASUS X99 deluxe)? If possible please provide a full description or the name of the cable. Thanks!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Allows for a very quick one plug connection to desktop monitors, keyboard, network and other devices. Creates the best of both worlds: laptop portability / desktop connectivity.

I was looking to replace a Realtek 8822CE card that came preinstalled with my desktop. With the Realtek I was constantly losing internet connection. After reading that the Wifi6 cards sold on eBay are often not genuine products, I ended up settling on this Intel card. Good price, fast connection with my Wifi6 router, and most importantly stable. Have not had any lost connections yet.

Great backup drive for PC! It worked right out of the box in backing-up my ancient desktop computer's data over a USB 2.0 connection! Why get this over a larger desktop-sized backup hard drive? Well... Its small size makes it easy to put away. It's powered only through the cable connection, saving the hassle of having to power it down (just eject in Windows and unplug it when you're done!) and saving money on electricity costs. And its design for portability makes me worry less about the repercussions of accidentally dropping it on a hard surface or floor. I definitely would buy again, but with so much storage space left over, it might be a while!

Using this docking station with my Dell XPS15. One Thunderbolt connection is now all I need to have my laptop connected to two QHD monitors (one of them widescreen), desktop speakers, keyboard/mouse, and a backup hard drive. That still leaves a few ports available for additional accessories. The only thing that would possibly make this dock better would be the SD card readers that some other brands include. It's nice to be able to just unplug one connection to go portable - and plug back in for a desktop-like experience. So far, I'm very pleased with my purchase.

This works well with my desktop that didn't have any internal pci ports and I wanted to give my desktop a gigabit connection. Just remember to update to most current driver from the there website. Windows will use it's own driver but I found out the Microsoft driver is buggy and will drop the network connection very often. Once I updated to the most current manufacture driver my problems went away.

I use these as my office desktop speakers. Albeit a strange setup; I've got a 27 TV as a second monitor for my PC. I use the wired AUX cable connection to these speakers, so it's a breeze to set up. I also use the bluetooth connection to my phone. The sound quality is amazing. Crisp highs, full vocals, and surprisingly deep and rich bass for such a compact unit. All that packaged into a cool-looking product that looks great on my desk. From podcasts to orchestral to acoustic to hip hop, these speakers fill in all the blanks. I'd buy these again, for sure.

I keep my desktop computer under the desk, so longer cables are necessary for my external devices. This 10-foot cable allows me to keep my external SSD drives (or any other device needing a USB-C connection) on my desk. I run the cable up to where I need the device to be and just leave it there on my desk. I can then attach anything I want, without having to bend under the desk to my computer. The cable feels well-constructed and made of quality materials. It has a sturdy cable that feels well-made and strong, but is still flexible. The connection points are well-made and strong too which is important because those points are the places that usually fail first. Besides that, the cable just works. I plugged in the device and there it was. No issues at all. [I have received this product in exchange for my honest review]
