Product came fast within a couple of days. Windows 10 Pro UEFI booted very fast with this drive. Faster than my nvme running Windows 10 Pro in Legacy (Same PC). Does not boot up my software programs as fast as my nvme (obviously). Have had zero problems with this drive and running software programs for graphic design. Excellent price for a solid drive. After registering my PNY products, I was contacted by a rep. Very friendly guy who is very helpful.

Works ok load the software. If you have windows 8.1 go the pinnacle support go dazzle for 8.1 & reinstall the software after that works fine

This internal hard drive works great. I plugged it in and windows recognized it right away. Afterwards I used the software that came with it just because.

Plug and play, no problems. I have always had good luck with Asus products. So far I copied my document and photo files onto double layer blu ray discs and burned a tv movie that was recorded on my hard drive to a blu ray which came out perfect. One odd thing, the enclosed software would not install, I ended up buying version 13 versus the enclosed version 8 of recording software that was included with the drive. No trouble at all with version 13, I have a feeling it had something to do with the changes in the latest Windows 10 version that the version 8 didn't like. Even with that little drawback, I'm very happy with the performance of this drive, just expect to buy some burning software if you are using the latest Windows 10 version.

I am a long time Windows user, but opted to try this machine since it could run both operating systems (MAC being a closed system). A similarly configured Windows machine would be much lower in cost, but won't run OX. For a $ (at $ one wonders why this is not offered as part of the software with the machine) the machine can add server software to host websites, file share, have an email server, and the OSX (iPhone style) calandar/contacts integration, instant messaging. While not simple, it is easier to use (but less powerful and flexible) than a Windows based server. I found that in a small office environment intregration with OSX (IPad IPhone) very useful, and this is why I give the machine a 5 star rating (that and the machine is whisper quiet, but still very powerful). The machine comes with NO manual whatsoever. At this price you would expect at least a few pages of paper describing the features of the machine, setup instructions, and a thumb drive( there is no disk drive) that contains more detailed instructions. If you are new to Apple like me you will need to buy an instruction book and introduction to the operating system and to the server (if installed). When you need help, you are directed to your local @ and serviced by an Apple Genius in the same manner (in the same long lines) as IPhone and IPad users. Monitors and external devices are connected through Thunderbolt or USB devices. Thunderbolt technologies can be daisy chained, but make sure your devices have more than one thunderbolt port so that you can take advantage of daisy chaining. The only other wired ports are two network ports. Wireless support for a wireless mouse/trackpad and wireless keyboard, Bluetooth, wi fi, and air play are standard.

I was searching for a way to use a existing tablet PC (Windows) as a full HD field monitor. I thought there HAD to be a way. This device gave me exactly what I needed: HDMI in to USB3 out. For software on the PC, it seems any webcam monitoring software will do. I settled on Corel Video Studio's capture window at full screen. I tried this device on several PCs running Windows 7, 8.1, or 10. It worked well on all that had a USB3 port (for the needed throughput). I'll probably settle on using a Sony Duo, which has a 1920x1080 pixel screen (about 12 diagonally), and is light weight. I'm taking my feed from a Canon Vixia HF-G30, recording in 1080P. It appears that stepping down the HDMI output to 720p may result in fewer lost frames with some PCs, but my analysis is incomplete at this point. All in all, a good solution to the need for a field monitor at a reasonable price.

I love the clamshell design - slightly depress the button to open, but it also has the backup method of opening. I use different software to burn video/photos/audio to optical disc for those who still need optical, and I have not yet tried it with my software. I purchased two of these. One is for my boss & I needed get a matching one in case he ever has any problems. This review is for both devices - one on Windows 10 pro & the other on Windows 11 pro. The Pioneer was plug and play on both devices. I have not yet downloaded the Cyberlink software, nor have I yet had time to see if this works with my existing software. I can confirm that it played back both audio and video easily on both Windows 11 pro and Windows 10 Pro. Windows 11 used Windows Media Player, and Windows 10 Pro I use VLC & another player. Easily worked well on both, and was super simple to plug and play. Glad I got it & that I no longer have to use the trusty paperclip method to open an optical drive any longer. (did not seem to matter how new they were - until this clamshell design, I have not found an optical drive that didn't need a paperclip to open it occasionally - sometimes always) This one even if it does not pop all the way open, is so easy to open & close!
