Remote Spy Camera For Home

I feel like a spy with this thing! It looks great and does exactly what it says it does. I love it.

Spy point sent me this camera as my Cell Link quit sending pics to my phone. So far it seems to be a great camera!

I purchased this camera for my residence and use it on a Mac mini with Security Spy software (excellent for Mac). The camera works great and Ive had it for a year no with NO issues. Auto tracking works great, able to read license on cars driving past my house. I highly recommend this. B & H made the purchase cost friendly and quickly processed.

I own 10 Spy Point cameras. When I had an issue with a camera the company response was very fast and friendly. The Link Micro LTE is a great camera. You must have cellular signal to properly use these cameras.

I have always been a spy point camera fan and head boned 10 for several years. The new addition of the flights camera is absolutely awesome. Great detail and flawless performance so far. I’ve had two of these out for about a month now.

I use this product with a home built jib and a Canon ZR500 DV camera for high and low shots as a second camera. The unit is very good, by the way don't buy the remote control as one is included in the box,the remote has a variable speed slider on it ,don't expect very fast speeds. The unit was meant for a security camera so don't overload it with a big heavy camera. It also has an automatic pan switch,it does 30,60,and 90 degree pans automatically, it can also manually tilt up and down with the remote. It can run off bateries or you can buy the 12v accessery unit. Nothing bad so far I would buy the remote extention if you plan to be far away from it or on a crane or jib.

As an alternative to the much larger Sony Remote Commander (which I also have for playback on a home monitor), the Vello Remote works very well and is much less expensive. A lot smaller and the included carabiner ring makes it handy and readily accessible for use. There was only one minor problem...the included battery was almost dead on arrival and had me initially wondering why the remote was working erratically. A check with my ZTS Battery Checker indicated a new battery was needed. Also note that, for the NEX 6, the remote control selection (required to use it in remote mode) in the drive options can remain set and single shots can still be made with the shutter release button.
