Remote Started Cars

I started out with (and still have) a Canon 80D, and got a Vello Remote Release. When I recently got a 5D IV, I discovered that it required a three pin connector for the remote release, which meant I had to buy this cable. It took a little fiddling around to determine the exact orientation when plugging it into the camera remote socket. It will only connect in one orientation, and has a tight firm fit. But it worked well. As snug as it fits, one has to be careful connecting and disconnecting not to break a pin in the camera. With care it should last.

I just started using this and it is great. The only down side to it that I have found compared to my wired remote is I can't turn the camcorder on and off with it. Other than that it is great.

Overall it’s very well built working on cars you must have one.

Just started using this remote but so far it is great. Works fine at its stated distance limit. Very pleased.

Lost the remote control somewhere in my house. Started shopping for a new one when when I notced my model had a remote finder. Followed the instructions and heard a very faint beeping. Delighted this function really works .

I just started a Digital Photography class to learn how to use my Nikon D40X the remote has become my most valuable jewel, I have a tendency to shake and even when I press the button on the camera it moves and the remote has helped me not have to do so many retakes. I'm looking forward to using it in the BULB process of timed exposure in night pics of the stars movement they will appear to be streaking :-)

I recently started shooting with ND finters and the built-in timer in my new shutterboss remote has been a tremendous help. A photographyear buddy was so impressed with it that she bought one for herself the next day.

I bought this to be used as a simple shutter release however it has turned out to be so much more. I am currently working on a timelapse that started about a week ago and this remote is handling the job flawlessly! Easy to use and the batteries have yet to expire! This is the best remote I have seen to date!
