I just added the WD 4TB Elements External Desktop Hard Disk Drive to my� back up solution (6 hard drives) and Windows 10.� I disconnected the power and USB cable from a full WD hard drive and replaced it with this new drive and fired it up. It works great, just like I would expect from Western Digital. 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Seagate external hard drive is amazing! I grabbed the 8TB and it's a beast! The read and write speeds are as advertised at 250mbs. This external hard drive can read and while, while being used and playing games. This is my current steam library all on this external drive. I can play games on this device even when downloading. It handles all my tasks! it's also used for my emulators with this incredible reads and write. I my previous device WD black external would freeze all the time, when moving on to the HDD or playing a game while downloading causing the game to crash. If you are a gamer and plan to play games & download at the same time or use this machine as emulation station, this external HDD is for you! I actually hope they come with 18tb or 20tb model cause I would buy again! 5 |
