I have both Brass and Aluminum step-up-rings, and the brass rings constantly are easier to install and remove. Aluminum is too soft and easier to cross thread. I like the price of Aluminum rings better than the brass ones, but I've learned that a good deal is soon forgotten when you have to fight with an inferior product repeatedly. 5 |

Top-quality brass filter that's never a problem to remove. 5 |

This allows me to use all my filters with my new lens. I chose brass because it will not distort and always is easy to remove. 5 |

This is a work horse mic used by every sound engineer to record any type of instruments:brass, percussion, etc. 5 |

I use this mic to record string and wind (brass mostly) instruments. The different patterns make it effective in a variety of spaces depending on whether you want to reject other sounds or include reflections. Versatile and great sound quality. 5 |

Using a brush to remove spot from sensor left what looked like scratches on the surface of the low pass filter. Options were to send camera to manufacturer for new sensor assembly, send to an independent service company for an new low pass filter, or to try something myself. Bought this Delkin kit and used per instructions. It was the final tool, a small polishing pad on a stick, which eliminated the marks. Used this unique tool back and forth in both horizontal and vertical directions and the marks disappeared, confirming that these were not scratches, but disturbances in a film-like coating on the glass. Test photos showed elimination of artifacts these marks had caused. 5 |

Wish they had a brass, knurled version for this size. Can be hard to remove, but I mostly don't need to with my use case. 5 |

Made of brass ring so easier to remove from the stacked filter. And good price, too. 5 |
