Remove Lacquer From Brass Instruments
Robert | 2024-06-19 01:20:11 |
I have both Brass and Aluminum step-up-rings, and the brass rings constantly are easier to install and remove. Aluminum is too soft and easier to cross thread. I like the price of Aluminum rings better than the brass ones, but I've learned that a good deal is soon forgotten when you have to fight with an inferior product repeatedly. 5 |

Top-quality brass filter that's never a problem to remove. 5 |

This allows me to use all my filters with my new lens. I chose brass because it will not distort and always is easy to remove. 5 |

This is a work horse mic used by every sound engineer to record any type of instruments:brass, percussion, etc. 5 |

I use this mic to record string and wind (brass mostly) instruments. The different patterns make it effective in a variety of spaces depending on whether you want to reject other sounds or include reflections. Versatile and great sound quality. 5 |

Does what you expect. Makes it easier to remove filters, aluminum or brass. 5 |

Wish they had a brass, knurled version for this size. Can be hard to remove, but I mostly don't need to with my use case. 5 |

Made of brass ring so easier to remove from the stacked filter. And good price, too. 5 |

I use this filter to protect the lens on my Sony HD camcorder. I really like the brass construction which makes it easy to remove. 5 |

I have tired of having aluminum rings (and filters) getting stuck and requiring a filter wrench or some such to remove them. Brass is worth the extra cost in the long run. 5 |
