I rent computer equipment and ship it all over the country. I own six of these cases and love them. After having used the Pelican 1660, this case is superior in that it is light, but not too light, and the latches are *much* easier to open and close. The only issue I have are the rubber wheels, which will get a flat spot ground on them quickly (after the UPS guys get to them a few times.) But, they come with a lifetime warranty, and will send replacements. 5 |

I needed this to get my AZ-EQ5 high enough that my refractor would be useable at a comfortable height in Alt/Az mode. This did the trick! It is very stable and raises it to just the right height. It is a f/7.5 5 APO refractor. The standard pier that comes with the mount just wasn't hight enough. I also highly recommend the AZ-EQ5 or 6 for use in AP and visual. It is really nice to have the ability to switch to Alt/Az mode for visual then go back to EQ mode for AP. I have both mounts. And for a mass produced mount they work really well plus you can use EQMOD with them. 5 |
