Replace Aa Batteries With Lithium

The Ultimate Lithium AA last a long time!

I LOVED this light. It is a great introductory prosumer light. It uses 6 AA batteries. (USE LITHIUM ION BATTERIES! they will last longer) it has a dimmer dial and a color temperature filter. I used it for a wedding last night and it worked perfectly. I like the lightweight design and I love the price. This is the best value if you need to save money.

I ordered the Energizer Ultimate Lithium AA Batteries to use in the trail camera I ordered. I had recently read an article saying that the Energizer Ultimate Lithium Batteries were as good or better than the copper batteries. So far, I am a believer.

Just came back from a two week safari in Africa and one pack of lithium AA batteries almost took me all the way through (including many video clips)

After much frustration buying Energizer lithium AA batteries day after day for my Nikon SB-800 for every new photo job, I decided to stop wasting my money and the environment and bought the Turbo SC. I used it for the first time on a wedding a few days later and it was an absolutely beautiful experience - this piece of equipment instantly became a necessity in my opinion for any serious event or wedding photographer using a flash. I shot with the SB800 all day (at least 8 hours) and the charge wasn't even halfway gone, and I was getting fantastic recycle times throughout. Buy this product and I promise you will feel it was worth it by even just the first job you use it on. Also, it's a great size -- pretty small, lightweight, kept it in my pants pocket and it never bothered me.

I shoot a lot of events and use the Canon Speedlights and I use rechargable Eneloop Pro AA batteries. I had a few batteries that were dying, which can bring down the entire system of flashes if you have a bad battery in your Master flash. The problem is you don't know which is the bad battery. In the past I would take all 16 AA batteries out of service and replace the whole lot of them. Well with this device I can find the few bad batteries and just replace a them. And all those old batteries (~40 of them) I'd taken out of service I was able to test. Turns out about 80% of them are still great, there were just a ~20% that were bad. My process for testing them is this. I use the 8 bay waston charger that does a full discharge and then chargers them fully (~20hrs). Then I (actually had my 8 a nd 12 year old kid do it) test each AA battery 3 times a row. If they ever get a test reading of 60% or lower I remove them from my working batteries. I keep the 80-100% in use for my flashes. It's solved nearly 98% of my dropping issues with the flashes. Long review, but this device is totally worth it and it works great! Highly recommend it.

I think I'm going to replace ALL my AA and AAA holders with these. No door to open, no latch to break, no clamshell / tray to spill batteries out, you can actually manipulate this and extract or replace batteries nearly one-handed in the dark. My AA batteries have a PTouch label wrapped around them to identify each set of 4 for even usage in speedlights, and those still fit in this holder.
